　After installing successfully, you can see monitored computer list and their monitor records. Because it's a Demo, you can only monitor 10 computers free at most for 16 days.

　If you install LaneCat.Client and LaneCat.Engine at the same computer for testing (you can install LaneCat.Lient on any computer you want and connect to computer where LaneCat located by inputing IP address), please go on:

If default gateway is a router, you need to check what kind of device you use to connect LAN, shared hub or switch.

　1.If you use switch to connnet computers in LAN, you need to add a new shared hub as below:

　　　　　LaneCat 　　　other switchs/computers

　　2.If you use shared hub to connect computers in LAN, you can install LaneCat.Engine on any computer you want in the LAN.

　　3.If you use shared hub and switch to connect computers in LAN, you need to place your shared hub on the Internet export port of your LAN as we mentioned in first article.

　If your default gateway is Proxy Server(such as SYGATE or ISA),you need to install LaneCat.Engine on computer where proxy server located, and set intranet NIC as monitored NIC.

　If you know how to configure switch mirror port, please configure a mirror port of toppest switch, and connect this mirror port to computer where LaneCat.Engine located.

　4. If the switch has LAN manage port itself, these ports can be used to run SNMP manage software. You can connect the computer where LaneCat located to these ports. If you need to run other manage software, you can connect a shared hub to these ports. You can run other network manage programs as well at the same time.
