Q: How to install LaneCat Inside Version?

①LaneCat Inside Version can be installed and function successfully as long as computers in the LAN can communicate with each other without being affected by the structure of LAN。②After installing the Inside version ,you should copy Client generated by it to the computers intended to be monitored and install Client on it for the Inside version to work properly. 

Specific procedure:
①Choose one computer in LAN to install LaneCat Inside Version,Install the specified database firstly——>then install the Engine——>Install the Console in the end. ②Click “Start-----Program----LaneCat”, then a window named Create Client Setup File will pop up, enter the static IP of the computer on which you install LaneCat, then the Client “LICSetup.exe” will be generated, you can install this executable application on the computer you want to monitor. ③Installing Inside Version finishes! 

Q: Is it necessary to install LaneCat Inside Version on every monitored computer ?
A: Not necessary, you only need to install Client generated by Inside Version on the monitored computer.
Q: Why I can not view the monitored computer after installing LaneCat Inside Version?
A: ①Perhaps Client was not generated after installing, or you forget to install the Client on the monitored computer. ②Perhaps the firewall embedded in OS was not switched off. In this case ,just to switch off the firewall. ③Computers in LAN can not communicate with each other properly, troubleshoot you LAN to see is something wrong has happened.
Q: Why Engine appears to be yellow after starting the Inside Version ?
A: ①Perhaps Inside Version was blocked by anit-virus software or firewall, in this case, just to configure the anti-software or firewall to permit Inside Version to run. ②Perhaps you forget to start “LaneCat InSide Server Service”, just start it to solve this problem. ③You forget to start WorkStation , just start it.
Q: Why LaneCat Inside Version can not monitor any computers in LAN ?
A: ①Perhaps Inside Version was blocked by firewall , switch it off. ②Perhaps IP of the computer on which you install Inside Version was changed, you just need to change IP back to its former value and restart the Engine.

Q: Why the content of IM chat can not be monitored?

A: ①Perhaps you forget to select the monitored item, you need to select it to view the records. ②Client was not installed on the computer intended to be monitored, you need to install Client to monitor the computer. ③Perhaps some function of LaneCat Inside Version was disabled by your anti-virus software.
